Replacement of Grimace by running power

I own the DSiWare version and PC version of the original Rayman. Now I haven't been on the PC version of Rayman for a long time and will do so later to check my findings, but in any case, in the DSi version, when you get the running power it does seem like the Grimace is replaced. However, and I've done it myself, if you HOLD the run-button without moving, you will perform the Grimace. I do not know if this is the same in the PC version, but if there are doubts, could someone check? If nobody wants to, I will do so myself, but it might be a while before I come back with results.

Interesting theory. But first sign your name with four tildes (these things: ~). --iHeckler9 12:07, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
I never menaged to do a grimace again after getting the Running power in the PC version. Maybe that's an exclusive detail for the DSiWare version? --Haruka 20:32, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
The grimace definitely gets completely replaced by the running power in the PS1 version. —Spiraldoor 21:25, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
The same goes for the PC version, if I remember correctly. — 08:19, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
What about Advance? --iHeckler9 10:56, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
I don't believe so since it is almost a direct port from the PC version. --Haruka 18:10, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

Requesting Removal for the Rayman Origins portion of the article

This might come of as surprising to some, but the latest grimace added to this article was taken from a video showing the behind the scenes of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Such video shows a few reference images used for the 3d model's expression sheet. Sadly, the image of the grimace in the style of Rayman Origins is actually a fanart owned by me that Ubisoft used without my permission. Some of the oldest members of this community might even remember it. The article claims with no sources that it is an early version of a grimace from the actual game. I have the image in full resolution and as my history shows, I used to make a big portion of the provisional art that has been on this wiki for more than 12 years. Someone even told to me that they used my poses for some figures from the Board Game, but I digress. I request the removal of the Rayman Origins portion of this article, as the image in question is not owned by ubisoft, it's in very low quality anyways, and there's no legit confirmation that such comes from an early version of Rayman Origins. If anyone has more questions or needs me to elaborate more, please feel free to ask. —sergiomonty 12:58 p.m, 04 March 2025 (UTC)

I had no idea that you made that grimace art! I just assumed that it was a piece of concept art that never saw the light of day. Sorry about the mix-up, that part of the article should be gone by the time you read this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Raygamer99 (talkcontribs) 14:23, 4 March 2025 (CEST)
