The swamps encircle this universe of greenery and its wild flora. There are dancing flowers and [[mushroom]]s around which twirl blue [[Butterfly|butterflies]], as well as bizarre trees, some of them being at the boundary between plants and fungi. [[Liana]]s [[Rayman]] can climb abound, as well as flower and [[mushroom]] beds, and [[plum]]s, recurring fruits in the [[Rayman (series)|''Rayman'' series]], allow him to pass through the marshes, or to take out [[Livingstone]]s. There are also [[prickly fruit]]s of all sizes, strange rocking flowers, and curious [[Water lily|water lilies]] onto which [[Rayman]] can jump. Thanks to [[Tarayzan]]'s [[magic seed]], it is possible to grow similar plants.

In the ''[[Maths and English with Rayman]]'' games, dangerous lianas with pinkish thorns appear, and it is also possible to grow deadly carnivorous plants when planting a [[magic seed]] in maleficent soil.

The enemies in the Dream Forest include [[Antitoon]]s, [[Little Livingstone|little]] and [[Livingstone|tall Livingstones]], [[hunter]]s, [[piranha]]s, and [[flower tentacle]]s. The bosses are [[Bzzit]] and [[Moskito]], two [[giant mosquito]]es. [[Rayman]] will make friends with the first one, who will help him to pass through [[Anguish Lagoon]], after defeating him, and he will eventually encounter the second one in [[Moskito's Nest]].

In ''[[Rayman 3]]'', the Dream Forest returns in [[2D Madness]], the first of twelve minigames which can be unlocked and played. This minigame serves as a flashback and tribute to [[Rayman 1|the original ''Rayman'' game]]. In it, [[Rayman]] is in the Dream Forest once more, and the player is tasked with maneuvering past various obstacles from [[Rayman 1|the original game]], such as [[giant mosquito]]es, [[cloud]]s and [[prickly fruit]]s, to reach the goal. At the end of the minigame, [[Rayman]] comes to a room filled with memorabilia relating to [[Rayman 1|the original game]].

In [[Rayman Raving Rabbids (Game Boy Advance)|the Game Boy Advance adaptation of ''Rayman Raving Rabbids'']], the Dream Forest serves as the inspiration behind the game’s second world: the [[Forest world]]. Many elements of the Dream Forest, such as [[Livingstone]]s, [[piranha]]s, [[plum]]s, [[hunter]]s, [[Water lily|water lilies]], and a large number of background plants return in it. The world’s first level, [[Dream Forest (Rayman Raving Rabbids)|Dream Forest]], even shares its name with this world. It is possible that the [[Forest world]] and the Dream Forest are one and the same, but this remains unconfirmed.
