:::It's really quite hard to get the ones on the top ledge as there are only four or five of them and they bury themselves under the ground so you don't know which one's which. By rebounding against the wall the blue shot is still there. I couldn't see any damage gone, despite shooting at it twice. --iHeckler9 06:35, 2 April 2011 (UTC) | :::It's really quite hard to get the ones on the top ledge as there are only four or five of them and they bury themselves under the ground so you don't know which one's which. ::::I'm not sure I understand; do you mean that blue shots rebounding against walls remain blue? In that case, do you have to shoot at Mini Janos so that the others get hit by a white shot? That would explain how hard to it for those on the upper ledge, as this method always eliminates one of them at each turn. — 17:14, 2 April 2011 (UTC) | ::::I'm not sure I understand; do you mean that blue shots rebounding against walls remain blue? ::::::All right then. Since there are only three Mini Janos on the upper ledge, we can hit them with no more than two white shots, which doesn't kill them, but one blue shot does, so they have 1/3 HP, let alone the weird glitch with their life bars. As concerns those on the main ground, they take three white shots or a blue shot to defeat, meaning they have 1/3 HP as well. Thanks a lot for checking this and taking pictures, iHeckler; you were a great help and this will be remembered ;) — 18:27, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
==JANO!?== | |||
This is so awesome I cannot explain it.

I just helicoptered down to the first platform when all of a sudden I saw three Janos! Yes, the Mini Janos were wearing hats! I had done the Marshes twice (I forgot to go in the portal on the first time) and then it just happened...this might explain those wierd lifebars.
Tell me what you think about it and stuff. --iHeckler9 13:09, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
: I had this glitch as well but with only two of them. -- StaceyW ♬ 14:05, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

:::It also happened to me once in Rayman Revolution. I also got stared looking at them with oddness. --Haruka 22:43, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
::::It happened to me once or twice but I only saw one Jano. He tunnelled into the ground and disappeared before I could reach him. I thought it was meant to be part of the game; a reminder that Rayman and Jano are racing to the treasure. —Spiraldoor 11:52, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
:::::If I understand correctly, the Mini Janos on the upper ledge exclusive to Revolution sometimes wear hats? Well that's worth mentioning in the article indeed, especially if the actions triggering this 'glitch' (?) can be identified. — 15:14, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
::::::I do not believe that the mini janos with hats discriminate between platforms. I encountered only one mini jano with a hat when I took my first glimpse from the opening of the cave. It tunneled and never came back whether or not i stared at it from the top or not and never came back. I had encountered it on the lower platform rather than the upper one, which had no hat wearers. I also reloaded thrice when I saved at the loading screen to see if I can get down fast enough(I wasn't) and I found it continuously with the exact same conditions each time: one hat wearer, lower platform, none on upper.--Bomber123 (talk) 22:44, 18 April 2015 (CEST)

== New Name == | |||
Hey guys, maybe we should think of a new name for the Mini-Janos. I think that name to be quite bland and ill-created. It's been done previously and since we do not know the real name, we might as well make one ourselves, right? How about 'Scareye', 'Mouthmon', 'Nightmare Child', 'Burrower' or 'Firebreather' as some first suggestions?
