:Howdy, we have been discussing this issue not a long time ago. In Rayman Origins' texture names, these are called Darkroots - I think this name would be more suitable for these kind of spiked tentacle-alike creatures. --[[Image:Sparkle.gif]][[User:Haruka|Haruka]][[Image:Sparkle.gif]] 11:46, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

:'Nettle' comes from the files on the Rayman 3 disc; as far as I know, they aren't directly named in any game or any other official source.
