The Armored Toad is set to be included as a Level 1 boss in ''[[Rayman: The Board Game]]''. He has the following Boss card and three Special Attack cards:

*Boss card: The Boss has a Movement value of 7. It can be adjusted to 6 or 8 for an easier or harder experience. When the Armored Toad moves and crosses the player’s path, it pushes them back one space in addition to the damage they take.

* Resistance: All enemies require 2 slaps to be defeated until the next round.

* Scream: All players on the 2nd and 3rd levels fall down one level and take damage if they land on an obstacle or enemy.

* Stun: All players in the same column as, or in a column adjacent to, the Armored Toad randomly discard 2 Bonus cards.

The Armored Toad appears more prominently in ''[[Rayman Legends Retold]]'' than in the [[Rayman Legends|original game]]. Unlike in the original, he can be seen with glowing pink eyes, under the corruptive control of the game's new antagonist. Alongside reprising his role as the boss of [[Toad Story#Rayman Legends Retold|the Stinkbog]], the Armored Toad can be seen without his armor sitting in the background of the world's hub area.

The Armored Toad later appears in the world's [[Forest dragon|dragon]]-riding level, [[Fly me to the Doom]]. His first appearance is in the background near the start of the level, where a group of [[Toad (Rayman Legends)|toads]] are bathing him. Upon spotting the heroes and their [[Forest dragon|dragons]], he leaves to put on his armor. Once they leave the beanstalk and enter the rainy skies, the Armored Toad stays in the background and throws debris into the foreground in an attempt to knock them out of the air. Finally, as he attempts to throw one last piece of rubble, a lightning bolt strikes him and makes him fall out of the clouds unconscious.
