The '''magic fist''' is an offensive ability used by [[Rayman]] in ''[[Rayman 2]]'', ''[[Rayman M]]''/''[[Rayman Arena|Arena]]''/''[[Rayman Rush|Rush]]'' and [[Rayman Raving Rabbids (DS)|the Nintendo DS version of ''Rayman Raving Rabbids'']]. [[Rayman]]'s shooting ability is exclusive to [[Rayman 2]] where it is used to defeat enemies and knock down doors. He is given the power at the start of the game by [[Ly]] who gave a [[Silver Lum]] to [[Globox]]. Globox then gets captured and gets locked in with Rayman, and then Globox gives Rayman the Silver Lum. Rayman then blasts a patch down so he and Globox can escape [[the Buccaneer]]. However, in [[Rayman Revolution]], he is given his [[telescopic fist]] instead, but is finally given the power by a [[Teensie]] after Rayman has finished [[the Fairy Glade]]. Rayman's shooting is upgraded two times by Ly as Rayman progeesses through his adventure, from white, to blue, to yellow. He can have an extra upgrade if he collects a golen fist power up. This makes Rayman's fist at its full potential as long as he collects them by finding them in a level, or winning a bonus level.

According to this story, [[Rayman]] lost most of his powers, including the magic fist, when the [[Robo-Pirate]]s destroyed the [[Heart of the World]]. This indicates that [[Rayman]] first received the magic fist at some point between the events of ''[[Rayman 2]]'' and [[Rayman 1|the previous game]], and that he was already acquainted with the ability by the time he regained it at the beginning of ''[[Rayman 2]]''.
