The '''Sea of Serendipity''', later revisited as the '''Angsty Abyss''', is the fourth world in ''[[Rayman Origins]]''. It later appeared in the [[Back to Origins]] mode of ''[[Rayman Legends]]''. This world comprises dock environments above and underwater elements below. This is the first world in the game not to be inspired by a world from [[Rayman 1|the original ''Rayman'' game]]. The Sea of Serendipity is also the location of [[20,000 Lums Under the Sea]], a world from ''[[Rayman Legends]]'' that later appeared in ''[[Rayman Adventures]]'' under the name "Sea of Serendipity".
==Description==
The Sea of Serendipity consists mainly of underwater areas, home to with a variety of [[fish]] and marine life. While some are benevolent or neutral, such as [[luminous fish]], [[anglerfish]] and the colorful, singing [[friendly fish]], this also includes numerous enemies such [[blowfish]], [[spiky fish]], [[redfish]], [[rockfish]], [[flying fish]], [[swordfish]], [[jellyfish]], [[giant jellyfish]], [[sea anemone]]s, [[tentacle claw]]s, [[spider crab]]s and [[Murray]]s. Some underwater areas are just under the surface and well lit, while others are much deeper and completely dark. The emerged part of the Sea of Serendipity consists of a dock-like environment populated by members of [[Globox's species]] called [[Red Wizard]]s. The [[Antitoon|Darktoons]] have taken over the docks, and can sometimes be found stuck on their heads.

==Angsty Abbyss==
To save one of the [[Four Kings]], the heroes must enter the Angsty Abyss. Similarly to their first visit to the Sea of Serendipity, they must [[Swimming|swim]] through the caverns deep under the sea, although these areas are more dangerous than the ones they previously encountered. The heroes must then fight [[Creveton]], the last of the [[Four Kings]]. Once all [[Four Kings]] have been saved, the heroes can return to the [[nymph]]s at the [[Dreamer's Door]].
After the team completes [[Luscious Lakes]], they come across Angsty Abbyss. Similar to its counterpart, the team will have to swim through the caverns deep in the sea. The heroes will then have to fight the [[Creveton]], the final of the [[Four Kings]]. If the kings were saved in order, the players can return to the [[Nymph]]s in [[Moody Clouds]].

==Back to Origins==
Sea of Serendipity, along with the other ''[[Rayman Origins|Origins]]'' worlds, make a return in ''[[Rayman Legends]]''. In order to unlock it, the player will have to collect [[Lucky ticket|lucky tickets]] throughout ''Legends''. After some of the levels from [[Jibberish Jungle]], [[Desert of Dijiridoos]] and [[Gourmand Land]] are unlocked, the first level [[Freaking Flipper]], will be unlocked, and the world's lock will break, therefore allowing the player to play the level. The levels from Sea of Serendipity and Angsty Abbyss fuse together into one world. Not every level from those two worlds appear here.
