Fire antitoons
Hi there! After reading this post on the forum, I traced the first mention of the term "fire antitoon" for the bouncing enemies made of fire in Rocky Peaks to this revision. Do you remember the rationale behind this, by any chance? Those creatures don't appear to have much in common with antitoons besides their size. — 13:27, 3 July 2022 (CEST)
:Knowing my obsession with trying to expand articles at the time using the French ones as a basis. I suspect it was taken from the then-current version of the French article. Looking at a revision dated on 2nd March 2014 on the French version, there's reference to a Fire Antitoon there, chances are past me took that as gospel and copied it to this side. Fraid I can't give a more solid source, you'll probs need to see if that was sourced French side or if it was a French editor's own interpretation of the game. --Master (talk) 19:35, 3 July 2022 (CEST)
::Thanks for the quick reply, I can see that boombo added the part about fire antitoons in 2012, only to remove it in 2015 with "no evidence" as a summary. This closes the case, I will remove this and create a separate page for those enemies later. For the record, they appear to be referred to as "FlameMine" and "FireMine" in the game files (the first one appears to be for the creature itself and the other for the flames it creates when defeated). — 23:19, 3 July 2022 (CEST)
