Flame mines, also referred to as fire mines,[1] are enemies that appear in the Game Boy Color version of Rayman. They are only found in the first part of Rocky Peaks, where two of them appear.
Flame mines are bouncing enemies made of fire. They patrol an area until Rayman gets close enough to them, at which point they self-destruct, sending two fire projectiles in his direction. Flame mines cannot be defeated by Rayman's fist: triggering their destruction is the only way to defeat them.
