Alongside reprising his role as the boss of [[Toad Story#Rayman Legends Retold|the Stinkbog]], the Armored Toad can be seen without his armor sitting in the background of the world's hub area.

The Armored Toad later appears in the world's [[Forest dragon|dragon]]-riding level, [[Fly me to the Doom]]. His first appearance is in the background near the start of the level, where a group of [[Toad (Rayman Legends)|toads]] are bathing him. Upon spotting the heroes and their [[Forest dragon|dragons]], he leaves to put on his armor.
