Bad Rayman is an evil version of Rayman (character). He only appears in Rayman 1 and Rayman Arena for Xbox and GameCube.

Appearance

In Rayman 1, Bad Rayman looked just like Rayman except he had grey skin, yellow eyes with no pupils, purple hair and neckerchief and blue shoes and shirt.

In Rayman Arena, his design changed. His skin was the same color. He has red eyes, a yellow neckerchief, red gloves, orange shoes and a darker purple shirt with an X on it.

Biography

When Rayman arrived in Candy Chateau in Rayman 1, Mr. Dark created a Bad Rayman. Bad Rayman copied whatever Rayman did and if he caught up with him, he would kill him by touching him. Eventually, Rayman reached the end of the level and Bad Rayman died.

He returned in Amazing Learning Games With Rayman/Rayman Junior and Rayman Gold/Rayman Forever with the same role. This is possibly because he is just a shadow and therefore cannot die.

His most recent appearance was in Rayman Arena for the Xbox and GameCube. Along with a difference in appearance, there is also a difference in behavior. In these versions of the game, he will no longer mimic characters' actions nor cause death to the touch and instead acts individually. He is the only opponent found in the game's highest level of single-player: Master Mode.
