The Rabbid chief is a character that appears in Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 and a few of the Rabbids games.

Description

The Rabbid chief is a Rabbid with heterochromatic eyes: one is blue and the other is red. He typically has a deeper voice than the Rabbids.

He is the leader of the Rabbid army. As such, he is much more serious and intelligent than his peers and often forms plans to take over the Earth. The Rabbids appear to fear and respect him, obeying him without question most of the time. However, they do not hesitate to make fun of him or ridicule him if the opportunity presents itself.

In the Rabbids Invasion TV show, he is less serious than his appearances in the games, no longer wishing to rule the Earth and sometimes having fun and laughing with his Rabbid peers. He will even protect them from danger or something that scares them on occasion. However, he will not hesitate to scream or beat up those who disobey him or try to take their place.

In Rayman Raving Rabbids

The first trailer for Rayman Raving Rabbids showed a Rabbid that may have been the Rabbid chief. He comes out of one of the Rabbids' ships, shouts an order, then flies off as the rest of the Rabbid army runs out of the ship. He is seen in a flying machine that would later be used for the space Rabbids in the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman Raving Rabbids. This character was removed in the final version of the game.

In Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

The Rabbid chief first appears in the introduction to Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. When Rayman is discovered while attempting to sneak into the Rabbids' base, the chief attempts to find out if this is really Rayman (since he had cheaply disguised himself earlier). To that end, he uses a copy of Rayman Raving Rabbids to compare the two. He gets close to figuring it out, but Rayman lets out the Rabbids' scream, which convinces the chief that he is indeed a Rabbid. The chief then directs Rayman to a yellow submarine, which he and many other Rabbids enter as part of the invasion of Earth. He is not seen again after this cutscene.

In Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time

The Rabbid chief makes another appearance in the ending cutscene of Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time. In it, a Rabbid travels to the year 4096, where he walks in on the chief briefing an army of Rabbids on the plan to use the Time Washing Machines to travel through time and take over the Earth. Unfortunately, the time-traveling Rabbid accidentally pulls a plug on one of the machines, sending him back to the present and getting rid of the other Time Washing Machines, much to the chief's frustration.

In Raving Rabbids: Alive and Kicking

The Rabbid chief appears once again in Raving Rabbids: Alive and Kicking. In this game, he wears a military helmet with four stars on it. The chief appears in one of the game's trailers, where he reveals a new plan to invade the Earth to the Rabbid army. Later, he appears in the game's introduction. While a Rabbid scientist is attempting to find a way to multiply the Rabbids, presumably as part of another plot to take over the Earth, the Rabbid chief appears in a flying machine resembling a UFO and gets stuck in the repeatedly-closing door. Once he is released, he uses a screen to send a cow into the pool of potion liquid, which makes the Rabbid in the pool successfully multiply at a rapid pace. After this cutscene, the chief is only seen in the menus when playing a game mode made for 3 to 16 players.

In Rabbids Invasion, Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show, and Rabbids Appisodes

The Rabbid chief makes a few appearances in the first season of Rabbids Invasion. Here, he seems to no longer be interested in taking over the Earth, now wandering aimlessly with the remaining Rabbids that he still rules over. He appears in the episodes "Rabbids Say Cheese," "Elevatorus Rabbidinus," "Schnoz Rabbid," "Flight of the Rabbids," "Hypno Rabbid," "Rabbidmobile," and "Rabbid Mozart." Some of these episodes also appear in the Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show and Rabbids Appisodes games.

In the Rabbids comic book series

The Rabbid chief makes cameo appearances in the Givrés !, Crétin Style, and La Classe issues of the Rabbids comic book series.
