Rayman Origins is the latest Rayman game to be announced, and the first in seven years to officially split form the Rayman Raving Rabbids franchise. The game is set to be released in a series of episodes that will explore how "...this uncontrollable individual Rayman and his grotesque companion Globox become the heroes that we know..."
Currently little is known about the story or gameplay, nor if it is a true prequel or merely a reboot of the series.
