Bats are present in Rayman Revolution and Rayman 2: The Great Escape for Dreamcast. They are very uncommon and play a small role in the PS2 version, while they can be seen in most levels on the Dreamcast version from its classical version.
In Rayman Revolution
Bats are most abundant in The Tomb of the Ancients. They fly quickly and prove difficult to hit; a comprimise for their lack of Resistance.
In the Dreamcast version
Contrary to the Playstation 2's version Bats don't attack Rayman. They can be found in most levels of the game flying away either due to Rayman's approach or a living background element.
