:::::::::I guess I'm late but I can report that Kegs can kill a fully healthed Barrel Pirate. I think there's no Robo-Pirate that survives to it (I can remember that pirate of the Whale Bay doesn't get damage if you throw him an energy sphere while he sleeps; he just awakes), except maybe a Gorilla Pirate. ::::::::::I already said that kegs kill Barrel Pirates, but that other part seems interesting. We need to find a place where you can throw a keg at a Gorilla Pirate (if you can of course).
