:How come you haven't posted this on PC anytime before? As for what genres the whole soundtrack is best described I'll have to go through it all again but the least I think most of it is fusion of two styles or more. That and how very, very 90's it is. --[[User:Cairnie|Cairnie]] 12:20, 2 January 2012 (UTC) | :How come you haven't posted this on PC anytime before? ::Because I thought everyone knew about it. It only occurred to me when this soundtrack section was added that no-one ever spoke of it (the demo tape) that I realised that I should probably ask if anyone else knew. It actually comes from an old Jaguar promotional tape which features some strange Rayman Beta footage (hmm...considering no-one knew of the video, it might be of use to the Rayman Early Development article...). As for the amazing soundtrack of the final game, I think it in a bunch of different genres, varying from track to track. For example, some of it is quite classical sounding (the violin piece in Picture City), others have a large brass band sound (a lot of the Band Land music, Mr.Sax's theme in particular), some have a rock vibe (Mr. Dark's Theme and Moskito's Nest)etc. I don't think it sounds OTT 90's though (with maybe the exception of the main theme of the Jaguar version). You should consult the soundtrack of Classic Sonic games (in particular Sonic 3) for that ;) | |||
