The '''Guardian of the Ocean World''' is a gigantic flying eel that appears in ''[[Rayman Origins]]''. It guards the passageway between the [[Gourmand Land]] and the [[Sea of Serendipity]].

The heroes battle the Guardian of the Ocean World in [[Aim for the Eel!]], the last level of the [[Gourmand Lands]]. They encounter him as they fly across the sea on the back of their [[mosquito]] allies.

~~They first appear in [[Aim for~~ the ~~Eel!]], the last level of~~ the [[~~Gourmand Lands~~]]~~, where one has to be defeated on~~ [[~~mosquito~~]]~~-back~~, ~~guarding~~ the ~~entrance to~~ [[~~the Sea of Serendipity~~]]. ~~Two~~ of ~~them later chase~~ [[~~Rayman~~]] ~~underwater~~ in [[Murray of the Deep]].

The Guardian of the Ocean World bears a strong resemblance to the [[Mini-Murray]]s – small eel enemies who are encountered in [[Beware of Mini-Murray]], the penultimate level of the [[Angsty Abyss]]. The final boss of this world is [[Murray]], an aquatic dragon who reverts into a shrimp when defeated in [[Murray of the Deep]]. Murray's name implies that he has sort of connection to the Guardian and the Mini-Murrays.
