	The cameraman is an unnamed figure in a long coat always seen with a background setup. In this background setup is a head hole, where [[Rayman]] can stick his head into so the cameraman will take his picture. Similar to how these pictures are typically saved in real life, they act as checkpoints in a level that allow Rayman to respawn where the picture was taken instead of needing to restart the entire level. The cameraman was only seen in the [[Rayman 1\|original game and its variants and remakes]].
