The '''Glade of Dreams''' is a place in [[Rayman|Rayman's]] world where ''[[Rayman 2: The Great Escape]]'' takes place. Widely believed by its inhabitants that is was created by [[Polokus]] the Spirit of the World, it is a beautiful island that hosts vast forests and mountainous areas, as well as swamps. Currently, this world has no connection with the settings in the ''[[Rayman 1|original Rayman]]'', but is possibly connected to those of ''[[Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc]]'', and even ''[[Rayman M]]''. There are a few indications however that suggest that the Glade may only be another land perhaps far away from the Rayman 1 world, but on the same planet. | |||
The Glade is home to a variety of creatures, which come in two types - the Magical Beings, which bear an array of magical powers; and the people, which are not magical at all but still keep peace, order and comic relief to the land. Unlike the people from the previous game, all of which were limbless, these people have at least two limbs. The Glade of Dreams is a place in Rayman's world where Rayman 2: The Great Escape takes place. Widely believed by its inhabitants that is was created by Polokus the Spirit of the World, it is a beautiful island that hosts vast forests and mountainous areas, as well as swamps. Currently, this world has no connection with the settings in the original Rayman, but is possibly connected to those of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, and even Rayman M.
