Rayman Forever is a remake of the original Rayman, and was released for the PC in 1998. It contains the original Rayman, Rayman Designer, Rayman By His Fans and a fridge magnet. Part of the the soundtrack was erased to save space on the 500MB disc. Despite its name, it bears no connection to Rayman 2 Forever, the Game Boy Color adaptation of Rayman 2: The Great Escape.
Late in the March of 2011, Rayman Forever was rereleased online through Good Old Games, a digital distribution network with a focus on older PC games. This version of the game (which the site's official description dubs ‘the definitive version of the first Rayman game’) additionally includes a PDF manual, a HD wallpaper, an MP3 soundtrack and two forum avatars.
