Late in the March of 2011, Rayman Forever was released online through Good Old Games, a digital distribution network with a focus on older PC games. This version of the game (which the site's official description dubs ‘the definitive version of the first Rayman game’) additionally includes a PDF manual, an HD wallpaper, an MP3 soundtrack and two forum avatars. This version comes included with the Dos emulator Dos-Box to run on modern computers. It does however not include the Making of Rayman 2.

In 2016, Rayman Forever was released on Uplay.
