All right, I finally know what happened to this file. A few months ago, images from the English version of RayWiki were uploaded to the German version under the same name but with a lower resolution; the editor presumably took them directly from articles, in which they are not displayed at full size. As a consequence, our original images were overwritten with their miniature counterparts, resulting in a drastic quality loss.

Fortunately, with the new interwiki system I developed, uploads are now disabled on foreign versions of RayWiki since the English part serves as a shared repository from which they can display their files. Therefore, no such problem should arise again.

Still, a couple files have been affected by those messy uploads. I will check tonight if I can find the original versions in our backups, but if it's not the case we'll have to upload new snapshots over the current ones. So far, here is the list:

  • Thecaveofbaddreamspc.JPG
  • Ninjaws.jpg
