Soldiers are scrapped enemy insects that were intended to appear on the first episode of Rayman Origins, until it became a full retail game. Ant-like in appearance and red in colour, Soldiers bear white skull markings on their foreheads and carry deadly spears. They are seen for a short period on the first trailer, in a scrapped mushroom level. Their resistance is unknown, as on the first trailer one is punched by rayman six times and didn't die, but another one was attacked with one single spin attack and immediately fell out of the screen. Even with their absence, the soldiers along with the piranhas have their own character descriptions and artworks on the official website. Some soldiers also made an appearance on the Daily Bubble.
