General Pokémon Thread

Something tells me that it will be hard to choose a starter since only their silluettes don't convince me. I must wait for their real look and the look of their evolutions.

No these are the real starters, the fake ones are at the fake pokemon link.
They look like CRAP too, especially the grass one.
I hope the other evolutions are not.
 
When I saw the female trainer I shat bricks.

The water starter is the only decent looking one.

It seems that I will choose again a Grass starter. But let's wait first for the evolutions to confirm if the grass one will be my choice or not.
 
Well i got some good news, i catched a Snorlax!!! :D :D
It took an half an hour though, his leftovers kept annoying me.

Bahaha this si the exact opposite of my opinion, I quite like the smugness of the grass one and I think I hate the water one more than any other pokemon.

Grass is my favorite too :) I thought the water one was a polar bear, but apparently, it's an otter. The fire one is bleh.
 
Hmm... I hate them. Especially the water-type one. It's a pity Game Freak couldn't design at least three decent creatures.

The grass-type one is easily the best-designed of the three. I hope the fire-type one has evolutions that aren't crap, because I want to like it.

Same situation here. Funny because I never choosed a fire PKMN as a starter, but if the evolutions of the new fire PKMN are better looking than the grass one, I'll switch my choice.
 
The green one looks like a fucked up version of Kirlia. The water type is cute, and so was Piplup. ;_;
 
This is my new Soul Silver team: Crobat, Gengar (i used pokesav to put this from my Platinum game to SS), Alakazam, Feraligatr, Pupitar (almost Tyranitar) and Ampharos.

I only have to make a Nidoking now.
 
I already have a Nidoking, I trained my Nidoran-Male to level 16 to be a Nidorino, and since I had a Moon Stone, it was easy.
 
I have no idea if I have a male Nidoran, I know I have a female one.

BTW is Magneton a good choice for the pokemon league?

I don't recommend him a lot against Bruno, however it can be useful against Koga.

I used an Ampharos as an Electric type on the league.
