General Pokémon Thread

I'm the only one here who's rather intrigued by this? Honestly I find it rather interesting they're taking a new spin onto the series and I don't find the idea "stupid". Honestly releasing a new game which takes place in an old region is far better than seeing a crappy new one. Only thing for me that raises question is the pokemon in the image, can't tell if either :

  • Re-made versions of Reshiram and the other one I forgot the name of
  • The evolutions of above.
    Or
  • Completely new pokemon which look similar

But nah i'm up for this new game.

Well...
This is new...

I'm lost for words, whilst Gen 2 was a sequel to Gen 1 of sorts, since it continues the story of Team Rocket.
There will be a DIRECT sequel!!!
Whaa...

I'm going to have an internal assessment, so I can figure out what emotion I should be feeling.

You have a good point there. I'll consider looking into this.

According to Bulbapedia, these are images for Kyurem's formes, one resembling Zekrom, the other Reshiram.

So basically they took an already established pokemon and said "Hey why don't we make it shape-shift to resemble other pokemon?"

A legendary ditto would sound more appealing but hopefully this means they aren't going to release new pokemon, as in an entire batch, maybe a couple of new ones would do fine.

I think these will be it's only alternative Formes, unlike Mew.
They've already done the alternative forme for legendary's with Giratina.

Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom are one and the same. Kyurem crashed to earth, splitting into Reshiram and Zekrom, and the being that is Kyurem is the leftover husk from what I understand

WHY THIS!? I just find it not needed. Ah, well within the first week the game comes out I'll probably be buying it.
I fail to understand your logic.
*late reply*
Sorry des. Anyways, I usually buy a Pokemon game when it comes out launch date, I'm a pokeaddict... I just think a black and white 2 would be a bit overrated, no worries, I'm often wrong though :mryellow:

I got disappointed to have bought Pearl while a Platinum version was released later. Now that I was making time to see if a Grey version appeared, it is a B/W sequel. :tssk:

I'm not interested for now in Gen 5.

I actually have Pearl, Platinum, Heartgold, Black AND White.

The games that are similar, Pearl and Black, I use them for backup. I have an action replay, so I can clone my pokemon.

Oh nice, Spanex.

I own Blue, Red, Silver, Gold, Crystal, Ruby (all of these cartridges) and (now boxed) Leaf Green, Emerald, Pearl and Soul Silver.

It is ashameful how I didn't complete a Pokédex. :P

I'm still trying to find out a way in removing the Silver's screw to substitute the battery. I need it to clone my Eevee and Hitmonchan to get more easily the evolutions of Eevee and Hitmonlee himself through breeding. I wonder if there's a tool just for that kind of screw.

Seems like Game Freak is releasing another Pokémon spin-off game.

It looks like mystery dungeon only people are involved (Not to mention an isometric battle field other than 2D).

Definitely not my cup of tea, it just looks like a sorry excuse to release a new game.

Not interested in that game.

I would rather try out Pokémon Ranger, which looks more interesting.

None of the classics? That sucks.
I own Blue, Red, Gold, Ruby, Emerald, Firered, Diamond, Heartgold, and black.
I also own the first ranger game, and mystery dungeon 2 (blue version) and I happen to own pokemon snap, though I NEVER LAYED A FINGER on it, since a friend gave it to me for free haha XD

I own Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, LeafGreen, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and White. So basically, there are only a couple that I don't own. I also have Stadium, Stadium 2, Snap, Colosseum, XD, and Battle Revolution. Does also having the Pinball edition count?

OH RIGHT! I forgot to mention I own XD gate of darkness and stadium 1... and no Sabertooth, despite firered and leafgreen being a remake, blue and red were much better by a long scale imo!
