So, did the GamingTV interview go well? I’m halfway through at the moment. I can’t understand a word, but I can’t stop listening either...
Everything went well, the questions were rather interesting. I even had the occasion to talk about the aborted Rayman 2 and Rayman 4. If enough French speakers offer their help, we'll probably translate the whole show.

But then how do you type the smiley? All I see is a way to copy-paste it from previous postings. What's the ALT+NUMKEY combination for the symbol? By the way, Spiral, I distinctly remember you once editing someone's post after he said something obscenely vulgar and rude (or something else against the rules; I don't remember) with the reason being "ಠ_ಠ", so how did you do that if you didn't know the smiley back then?

Oooh, cool, Hunch! I'd love to read up on what's been said.

I have a text file on my desktop, containing typographic quotation marks and several distinct types of dashes. (No, they’re not interchangeable, and I don’t care whether anyone notices; I always write in correct English.) Whenever I want to use one of these characters, I copy and paste it. I can’t do the same for the disapproving face, since it’s in Unicode format, so it turns into a question mark whenever you try to save it in a text file. Sometimes I can find it online when I need it; sometimes I can’t. Now that I know its name, it will never be more than a search away.

If you save it as an RTF (which is like a TXT, but it supports more advanced formatting) with Wordpad and change the format to unicode, there shouldn't be a problem.
