I'd say that's the biggest con in the main versions of the game, and if I remember correctly most of the reviews noted this problem. You finally get used to it (it's much easier if you're using a controller), but it's weird, specially when all of the games you're playing nowadays let you control the camera as you please with the right stick.

In Rayman 2 PC it's Q/W for sidewise control, and Hold Pad0 and arrows for first person view rotation. Not super intuitive, but gets the job done.

What interesting theories you all have! But where is this Joe from? The Mushroom Kingdom? Is that why there are Mario-themed bunnies around?

Maybe this is the wrong place to be asking this but I've been trying to set up the pc version with control panel and for some reason no matter what I do the game keeps looking like this. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I've searched all over and I can't find anything close to it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game multiple times and it just refuses to not render like this.

Have you tried installing Ray2Fix?

Do you think there are any robo-pirates still around by the events of Rayman Legends? I might be misremembering but iirc Polokus could only destroy the robo-pirates on land.

Polokus did indeed destroy the ones on land, then it's implied Rayman destroyed all the rest (except Razorbeard) when he stormed the Prison Ship

I still love the idea of some robo-pirates still lying dormant and offline in some expanses of the Glades, though. If the games had any continuity it would be a great way to continue the plot of R2. Perhaps some could be reformed.

Ubisoft doesn’t make any money, pirating is highly illegal and they conveniently made it borderline impossible to play a pirates copy. Besides, how hard could it be to just buy the game for £1 or £2 pounds?
