Ubi should consider making more Rayman merchandise.

They should but there's probably not enough demand, it's just us really :P
Yeah :(
Games are not even selling that good sadly.

I still think they should go back to their roots and do a proper adventure style game like Rayman 2/3. None of this 2D stuff. Give us the Rayman 4 we all want!

I seem to have discovered a glitch in Rayman 3 that interferes with the menu system. Playing around with it a bit and I found that I somehow created a corrupted savefile (appeared as normal on PS2 bios), and a corrupted photo (appeared as "Corrupted Data" on PS2 bios) that seemed to completely fill my memory card. This didn't corrupt my normal save file but I don't know how this affects other platforms. Anyway, what I did was pause the game and save it, then immediately after it has saved, press L1 or R1 to scroll through the menu. This will allow you to scroll though the menu's you can't normally scroll though. Pressing L1 will lead you to a glitched load menu (cages and tings will be at 0, and sometimes the positioning is wrong), then (pressing it again) the options menu, then the Game menu (which cancels the glitch). Pressing R1 will lead you to the controller options menu, then the audio menu, then the video menu, then the arcade menu, then a very glitchy cinematic menu, then the extra menu, then to the "center screen" menu, which immediately boots you out of the glitch and back into the game.

Just thought I'd post about this, seemed interesting.

Can someone please explain why the PC version of this game plays very slowly while still being smooth? I can run TF2 100% speed at max settings and 60FPS for the whole time, yet Rayman 3 for PC happens to run much more slower than it normally does on consoles. I'm sure that the last time I tried Rayman 3 on PC (which was actually quite a long time ago) it played at 100% speed. What am I doing wrong?

I remember your Computer hating Rayman Legends. It seems your PC really dislikes Rayman games
Reinstalling Drivers maybe?

It seems that it works but you need to be facing them, and the third chicken keeps touching you most of the time though. It may depend on where you are too.
I just tried it to see if it really worked.
It was originally found by Rayomz/Knaaren from Tumblr.
Oh wow! That's hilarious! They don't hit you if you're looking directly at them! In first person, of course. Maybe they're related to the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who?

It reminds me of a glitch I used to have few years ago in my PS2: Rayman was holding an invisible egg.

Actually, if you don't know, I recently got a gaming PC a few months ago. My old laptop could still run Rayman 3 much faster though, while not even being able to play TF2 on settings higher than the lowest or medium-low settings. This new PC can run so many games completely smooth. I even tried Rayman Legends on this new PC and it was completely smooth and played at 100% speed.

What do you mean exactly?
I mean it still runs completely smooth but at like 50% speed, especially in the cutscene after the level where you are flying with murfy at the beginning. It takes like 5 seconds longer for him to start saying each line that he says in the cutscene. Even in the first level the gameplay seemed a bit slow, and the title screen was kinda slow too.
Does the GOG version fix any of these problems?

I've never played the original Rayman 3, but I have the HD version on Xbox 360. I thought it was a great game.

I know people claim the HD version has issues, but any problems I had with the game were general. So the issues of the HD version must be really minor. I'd say get it.

Minor? You are unable to advance past "Hoodlum Headquaters" if you replay a level without finishing the entire game.
Many people had this horrible glitch. I suggest nobody to buy HD version. If someone wants HD with much better graphics too, PC version with 1920x1080 trick is best way.

Quite so, the hud and menus are also botched up, but in comparison to having to worry about the game breaking glitch and the ever so famous LSD water in some areas, I can deal with those.

I agree. I would rather have no cutscenes during game (I can watch cutscenes on YouTube if I want to) and a bit glitched menu than breaking glitch.

How do I play the PC version with such a big resolution...

Simple, you basically just go to %WinDir%\UbiSoft and run Ubi.ini with administration rights. You look under the sextion Rayman 3 Resolution or something like that and change it to 1920x1080x32 or that kind of resolution you want. Maybe I should take a few hours and write a program that changes this section automatically with TnL fix as an option.

Well, I never experienced this.

And I do consider that minor - Rayman 3 is the kind of game where I wouldn't replay a level without finishing the game first. The HD port is completely fine if you just play straight through first.
