Rayman Optimum

Why?
Also how does that .bin file make sure outro plays with correct language if we change opening since there was originally no .bin file in that direction?

What would you prefer? Let the PC suck unneccassairy too much performance and get a fluent intro clip or let the PC run energy saving but also get the exact same fluent Intro clip?

And OCG only for v1.22 and v1.22b you needed that RAYMAN.bin because splitting the audio track was impossible. v1.30 could handle the audio tracks splitted so it came with all .tra files back and links for the addons are again updated with the old links.
ugh I should give the option to choose language and additional intro lang in the next update.

I would prefer 60fps intro like it was before without sucking unneccassairy too much performance ;)

Not big, but it does exist. I was just pointing. If 60fps is impossiblre because it will slow things down, I understand.

Hello all!!! Emshomar i have a problem with import maps to rayman mega patch. when i'm trying to move a Map file to documents folder/rayman designer maps are not working, I run rayman designer and inside the game that are nothing of maps. And i have another question: Can I add PCX's levels (maps)to Rayman mega patch and how to do?

I installed this with the Gog version installed as well.
Does this even need another installation?

Run as Administrator.

PCX's levels? I thought PCX are picture files.

No, it doesn't need anything!

It was never 60FPS to begin with. The FMV clip only ran at around 20FPS. It's quite obvious if you simply look at the FMV as it is playing.

Also, the xbrz scaler provides a much nicer image than HQ2x, so I think it would be a better choice for the "Nice" setting. ;)

Emshomar did say 60FPS was in older version. Remember his trailer?
And I found xBRZ to be much less sharp and more pixelated than HQ2x. Not to mention it slows down game's intro and has audio problems for me.

If you look at the FMV with your own eyes, you can clearly see it was not running at 60FPS. It's really, really obvious.

And in the olden times when Rayman was made, they would never stick 60FPS FMVs on a CD! Too much data, mon, too much. (They still rarely do that, actually.)

Though it is more pixellated, it actually provides a more native HD-looking image, whereas on HQ2x you can still notice many individual pixels and jagged lines that didn't get completely smoothed out, even if the image does look less pixellated.

Hmm... weird, I forced the clip to run at 60FPS, but I guess you were on Windows 8 and by that time it still had its issues

~40MB FLAC video with no audio track.

It run much better on my PC. BTW will your patches be Win 9 compatible in future?

It looked like this on my Windows 7 desktop as well. Also, I'm pretty sure the clip itself doesn't run at 60FPS, so forcing it wouldn't do shit unless you did it via frame interpolation.

Which was considered a lot for MS-DOS computers. ;)

Look at comparison:

In that comparison, you can easily see that the PRE-ENCODED FMV is NOT running at a full 60FPS. The Mega Patch still does a much better job than the bonusweb patch, where the FMVs only play at around 10-15FPS, but the FMV is definitely not running at a full 60.
