The Firemonster, also called Fire Monster, is a Knaaren made of lava, and the second-last boss fought in Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge. The Firemonster is fought in the Pit of Endless Fire. He is not difficult to defeat and can be beaten by launching two fully-charged telescopic fists at him. Using the level's can of Fire Protection is not necessary to defeat him, but is still recommended to defeat him to safely move around on the lava.
Apparently, the Firemonster is a regular Knaaren that has been somehow bestowed with the ability of fire by the Leptys, which in turn, causes him to be the guardian of the Pit of Endless Fire. His physical appearance strongly resembles Reflux's mutated form.
