The glandeur[1] is a creature that was scrapped from Rayman 3 during early production, but still makes a cameo as a statue in Razoff's mansion. Textures of the glandeur were found in the data files of the game, and when mapped onto the squirrel statue in Razoff's mansion, they turned out to be a perfect fit.[2]
Its name translates to "slacker" in French, however it is also a pun on the word gland, meaning "acorn", which this squirrel is seen holding. The glandeur was most likely an environmental creature.
