A lot of sources (like GiantBomb) are connecting Phoenix Studio with Phoenix Interactive Entertainment, that is a mistake. The PIE was a British company which developed two games in years 1995-1997. The Rayman Phoenix website is not helping, in games developed by the company the developer is called "Phoenix Studio" but at the website for some time was called "Phoenix Interactive" (sometimes this name is used in media). This doesn't change the fact that it has nothing in common with the British studio. Over the years have been created a lot of companies with a similar name. At the portal LinkedIn, some former employees are marked as old workers in Phoenix Interactive Design, a Canadian ATM software company, which is not true.

Issues with the company name

Numerous sources link Phoenix Studio to another company called Phoenix Interactive Entertainment. The second team was a British video games developer that produced two titles between 1995 and 1997. In addition, LinkedIn falsely connects some former employees of the French studio to Phoenix Interactive Design, a Canadian ATM software company.
