I've noticed that there are release dates for GameCube, PC and PS2, but I don't see Xbox listed under release dates. Was it just simply the same as PC and PS2, or is it unknown? -- 06:01, 20 January 2021 (CET)

:Well, according to Wikipedia, the Xbox release was the same as PS2. It's weird that the Xbox release is not mentioned in the infobox, I guess it was just a mistake. --Elite Piranha 06:42, 20 January 2021 (CET)

Rayman 3 Ending
I'm pretty sure this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find a mention of this on the Wiki and I feel like it's significant enough that I should at least push for it to be looked at. So as we know the ending of Rayman 3 shows how André was born by being scared as a Red Lum. He dramatically turns and then flies into the screen - which then cuts to black.
An item that I remember being the cause of debate ages back, was that there was a voice urging Rayman to wake up after this cut ("Rayman! Quick! Wake Up!"). If you were to look at the PC version (at least the GoG version I usually play), this voice isn't present. However having recently played the PS2 and GCN versions, I can confirm that the voice is present in those. Here's some video evidence to validate what I'm saying. (This is from the emulated US GCN version)
That does sound a lot like Murfy don't it? But either ways, should we log this on the Wiki? It is part of some versions of the game. --Master (talk) 23:06, 2 October 2023 (CEST)
:I had no idea about this, that is certainly worth mentioning. — 21:35, 3 October 2023 (CEST)
Should handheld versions be included?
User Великий минимус recently added the GBA and N-Gage versions of Rayman 3 to the list of platforms in this article, which I then reverted since those are different games. Today said user has undone my reverted change and added more information about them. To avoid an editing war, I think we should come to a decision on if these belong here or not.
So the question is ultimately, do games released with the same name as the main game, but which are clearly different games, belong in the main article? I went ahead and checked what had been done for other games, and it appears rather inconsistent:
* Rayman 1 does not list the GBC version
* Rayman 2 does list GBC version
* Rayman 3 did not list the GBA/N-Gage versions and does not list the mobile version
* Rayman Raving Rabbids does not list the GBA or DS versions
* Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 does list the DS version
* Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party does list the DS and mobile versions
* Tonic Trouble does list the GBC version
Another thing worth mentioning - in the case of this article, there is already a link to the disambiguation article at the very top, as well as a section for "Portable versions" further down which links to them and states they are different games.
Personally my opinion is that they don't belong. We already seem to have a good system for dealing with this, where at the top of the article we link to a disambiguation article, as is the case with this article, or directly link to the other games, like the Raving Rabbids article does. If we reach a decision here I think we should go back and update the mentioned articles to have them all be consistent with each other. -- 08:44, 13 January 2024 (CET)
:Agreed. I think versions should only be listed together if they share a "core" in the sense that they share the same basic physical levels and ideas (such as the myriad of 3D Rayman 2 versions - R2 GBC might be a retelling but it's not the same core game in that it's a 2D sides roller as opposed to the 3D game, or R1 GBC which may be a similar game but level designs and names are completely different)
:I'd say unless a handheld version is the same as the mainline versions as with Rayman DS or Rayman 3D, keep them separate. --Master (talk) 13:42, 13 January 2024 (CET)
::When handheld versions are separate games and not just ports, like Rayman 1 GBC and Rayman 3 GBA, they belong in their own articles, and their release dates should not appear in the "main" article, because it's not that game that was released on handheld. I have reverted Великий минимус's changes with an explanation and a link to the mobile article if they want to edit things there. And indeed, other articles might have to be updated for consistency's sake. — 13:46, 13 January 2024 (CET)
:::I've actioned these, so now all the articles that did log separate games no longer do so but mention that they do have mobile adaptatations instead. I've held off doing so for Tonic Trouble, since I feel we ought to start up an article dedicated to the GBC version first before removing the reference. --Master (talk) 00:42, 26 June 2024 (CEST)
