Masterkaag and Hoodstomper
I think that "Hoodstomper" is the name of a variety of Hoodlum (like Hoodblaster, Hoodmonger, Hoodoo and so on), and "Masterkaag" is the name of the individual Hoodstomper that Rayman fights. This is somewhat similar to the Ninjaws and Ninja-Pirate mix-up. I propose that the two pages be separated. Spiraldoor 17:26, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
I think that's rubbish, masterkaag is just an alternative name for hoodstomper, many hoodlums had a beta name with "kag" in it. By the way, there is only one hoodstomper so why make a subspecies of a hoodlum while there is only one. where did the name masterkaag come from anyway?
- Very well, I'll remove the separate Hoodstomper page. Spiraldoor 15:37, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
- I think you should have a separate page illustrating Master Kaag's weapons, including the Hoodstomper. Also, in one of the screenshots on the wiki, Master Kaag has a hat and in another he hasn't. Was this an early design change? Iheckler9 10:55, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- 'Weapons'? He only has one weapon: the Hoodstomper machine. Its abilities and weaknesses are already described in detail in the Master Kaag article, so there's no need to create a whole separate page for them (which is something we've never done for any boss as far as I'm aware). That's like creating separate articles for Céloche's machine and the pilot controlling it; there's just not enough information available to warrant splitting them apart, and even if there was there'd still be a very good argument for keeping them together.
- The helmet Master Kaag is wearing in the officially-released screenshot we're using as his main picture is a design aspect that was removed from the final version of the game, but such a minor detail doesn't need to be discussed in the article. —Spiraldoor 14:24, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- Master Kaag does not have 'just one weapon'. He has at least three: The Hoodstomper, Molotov baby bottles and explosive dummies. Iheckler9 19:39, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
