Flying Blue Elves are small creatures found in the original Rayman game, more precisely in Band Land and Picture City. They have the ability to shrink Rayman down in size by touching him. This will allow him to get into small passages that were inaccessible before. Touching them again will allow Rayman to recover his original size. Rayman's ability to resize himself will be revisited in Rayman Origins; he will gain it after completing a certain world in the game.
