'''Mr Skops' Stalactites''' is the final level in [[the Caves of Skops]], a world from the original ''[[Rayman 1|Rayman]]''. It is there that [[Rayman]] encounters [[Mister Skops]], a giant scorpion boss, who he must defeat to finish the level.

==Description==

The first part of the level has no exit sign and contains all six of the level's [[Electoon]] [[cage|cages]]. In the second part of the level, Rayman finds himself in front of the sleeping Mr Skops who, angry at being woken, attacks him. He attacks by throwing his claw, which Rayman must jump over as it sails part him (and again as it returns to its owner). Mr Skops also strikes the ground with his claw, causing the platforms which Rayman stands on to fall into the lava below, one by one. When all platforms are gone, Rayman must grab the edge of the platform Mr Skops is standing on to avoid his attacks. Skops then runs away, while causing lava to rise in an attempt to kill Rayman. He also demonstrates his ability to shoot lasers from his tail, which destroy platforms. In the third part of the level, Rayman has a one-on-one battle with Mr Skops, in which he must dodge his claw and punch his tail-lasers back at him. When Skops is defeated, an image of [[Mister Dark]] holding [[Betilla]] prisoner inside a glass sphere is displayed, along with her words, "Rayman! Please help me! Hurry!". Rayman must then break all remaining cages to gain access to [[Mr Dark's Dare]], the final level of the game.
