The Fire Protection is a temporary power used on several occasions by Rayman in Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge. It is provided by the red cans of Laser-Washing Powder and makes Rayman impervious to fire-related damage. This is useful in the Pit of Endless Fire, as Rayman must battle a Firemonster there.

Trivia

• Unlike in Rayman 3, red is no longer the color of the Heavy Metal Fist cans, which are yellow in this game.
• The Fire Protection is the only Laser-Washing Powder that is new to Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge. It is also the only power from the game to be exclusive to it, since the Heavy Metal Fist and the Throttle Copter return from Rayman 3 and the Fire Protection has never appeared in a game after Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge.
  • This makes it one of only two Laser-Washing Powders to only appear in one game, the other being the LockJaw from Rayman 3.
