Tortoise

Tortoise are background characters in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, that move around on the ground. They are said to be venerable travellers that only die if they eat too many hash browns and have a little accident in their shells. ^[source] You can pick them up and walk around with them or kick them away, sending them spinning though the air. It would then complain about Rayman's actions in a humourous way. They would speak in old, croaky voices, and sometimes you can spot two being affectionate to each other. The tortoises appear in the Fairy Council, Clearleaf Forest and the Land of the Livid Dead.
