The manual debuted in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc and provides Rayman with information he needs to get through the game.

Appearance

The manual first appears at the start of The Fairy Council in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, under the possession of Murfy. It is used by Murfy to provide general information on the game's controls, and it provides information about the superpowers Rayman acquires in the game. It is not seen afterwards as its purpose was only to assist Murfy in providing instruction for training the player. The manual is a purple booklet with an image of Rayman's face on the front cover; this image depicts Rayman as he appeared in the original game.
