The LyN engine is a game engine used by Ubisoft and was originally created during the development of an early version of Beyond Good and Evil 2, before being cancelled and having its development restarted from scratch several years later. The LyN engine was then re-purposed for TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled and Rabbids Go Home. The engine is heavily based on the Jade engine.
