I'm gonna rip this strange game!
(strange becuase it hardly deals with robo-pirates, just a mid-boss and an end boss that are pirates)iirc.

It explain's why Uglette isn't with Gobox in Rayman 3, he started with 'Smoke Lums, then moved to drinking Plum Juice...he's on a road to a bad place.

I guess thats why that had to hire another one for origins.

Well he already has the memory isues...

and pretty much all he was good for in Rayman 2 was to be a storag container, Ly's to lazy to walk over and give you a Silver Lum, she hs to make Globox do all the work.

If Razoreard knew anything about Rayman, he should've known better than to put Gobox in Rayman's cage, it would've been Game Over if Globox went elesewere.

and what were the gonna do with Ly? They had her in a magic negating cage-thing, how were they gonna get that to their ship?
and after they left polokus could've just made more people, starting over again.

all could'e happened, if Globox went to a different prison. So Globox is the real hero of Rayman 2!

Don't forget murfy for helping you through all those hard times.... lol.... NOT! I hope he appears in rayman origins, that guy is so funny. He's more of a scaredy cat than globox

I wish Murfy would've stayed around longer in R3, but the manual probally fired him.

-Globox on drugs
-Murfy getting fired
-And ly turning in a statue?

Rayman and bettila seem to only be in good health

What was she doing all that time? Gathering energy, perhaps? I know she telepathically communicated with Umber. Maybe that was a time consuming activity?

If Razoreard knew anything about Rayman, he should've known better than to put Gobox in Rayman's cage, it would've been Game Over if Globox went elsewere.

Unfortunately (or rather, fortunately), he didn't. But still, what are the chances Globox and Rayman would get put together? All the other Globoxes in the opening scene were in small cages, similar to the ones Teensies were put in. Why did Globox get a full on cell? And why with Rayman? Does Razorbeard have any kind of organization in place?

and after they left polokus could've just made more people, starting over again.

A carbon copy of the Glade of Dreams, all recreated from the memories Polokus has of before the Robo Pirates, minus the Robo Pirates. A clever solution, but it seems easily avoidable by simply saying that the new Glade would be a copy, not the real one. Then again, the Glade was created by Polokus through his thoughts and dreams. To him, it's just a figment of his imagination. Go sit down and imagine another world. Congratulations, that's what life is like for Polokus.

all could've happened, if Globox went to a different prison. So Globox is the real hero of Rayman 2!

He also gets you through impossible terrain multiple times in the Canyon level. That level would be impossible without Globox. What are the chances that you'd meet him there? Rayman is way too lucky. The same could be said of the blue lum lacking Whale Bay and Carmen the Whale. Also of Ssssssam in the Marshes of Awakening. Also of Clark in the Menhir Hills. Also of the Teensies that open the portal for you, conveniently placed right by that stone you usually need to use to create a spiral door. I guess the best explanation is that Rayman has lots of friends, so in almost any location he goes to he's bound to have someone to help him continue.

...
...
...
Also of the barrels floating in the dangerous water in some levels. Also of all those plums nearby lava. Also of those kegs in the Echoing Caves. Also of the Shells in the Menhir Hills. None of these are friends, they're just extremely conveniently placed.

Now that I'm on the topic of weird things in Rayman 2, why is their a random, large, slippery pipe in your cell that exits the ship? And why do the Teensies sometimes go to those stones to create spiral doors, but sometimes just make them on the spot?

I think he's a teensy bit too podgy to fit in a cage. Yeah. Just a little bit.
Perhaps the Rayman cell was the only big 'un? I know the Buccaneer is huge, but half of it is taken up with platformer material, and the rest has tens of thousands of cages all piled up.

Really? I always thought that all the Globoxes were as fat as Globox. It's sort of Nightmare Fuel, to imagine them all trapped in a cage like that.

Globox is also a lot taller than his babies. I agree though, perhaps the cages have limited Hammer Space.
As does Rayman.

Where else could his arms, legs, and neck be?

personally think the first part of the Buccaneer is a scrapyard for failed ships and robo-pirates, evident by junk shredders, lava flows, and random broken masts in the background.

That actually makes perfect sense. Well, it still doesn't explain the explosions or lava, unless that's how the Robo Pirates dispose of said objects.

It flies... by lava.

Actually, I was thinking of the Hammer Space required for the 4 Masks, the Elixir of Life, the Rain Mask in some versions, etc. Rayman doesn't appear to have a Bag of Holding, so it must be HS.
