—Creveton, after being released from the grasp of his nightmare form, Rayman Origins

Creveton[1] is a boss in Rayman Origins, and one of the four Kings that the heroes must defeat. Like the other Kings, he has been warped into a powerful monster by the nightmares of the Bubble Dreamer, taking the form of a gigantic leviathan-like creature.

Appearance

Creveton's mutated form is a large beast with many fins and spikes protruding from his body. He has dark red scales, a huge mouth, and sharp teeth, with two curved front ones being larger than the rest. He also wears a small crown on his head. His true form is a small, benevolent shrimp.

In Rayman Origins

In Rayman Origins, Creveton is encountered in Murray of the Deep, the final level of Angsty Abyss. He attacks by pursuing the heroes and attempting to chomp them while also sending red giant jellyfish to hinder the heroes' progress. Throughout the battle, a bubo will appear on his bottom segment, giving the heroes a chance to destroy it and weaken him. After attacking this bubo twice, Creveton will charge towards the heroes head-on, revealing a bubo in his mouth. Destroying this defeats him and reverts back to his original form: a benevolent shrimp.

An image from The Daily Bubble shows Creveton with a slightly different design, sporting lighter skin.

In Rayman Legends

In Rayman Legends, Creveton appears in the Back to Origins version of Murray of the Deep, acting the same as he did in Rayman Origins. When he is restored to his original form, his line of dialogue is removed.

Additionally, Seabreather, a sea monster summoned by a Dark Teensy to attack Rayman and his friends, resembles Creveton's mutated form.
