Firecrackers[1] are objects that appear in Rayman Adventures and Rayman: The Board Game.

Appearances

Rayman Adventures

Firecrackers first appear in Rayman Adventures, where they only appear in Wild, Wild East. They are stationary at first, but when the player attacks one, they fly in a set trajectory before exploding. They come in three varieties: yellow ones, which release a group of Lums upon exploding; purple ones, which release either a group of yellow and purple Lums or a Lum King upon detonating; and red ones, which have angry eyes painted on them and destroy certain terrain or Teensy cages when blown up.

Rayman: The Board Game

Firecrackers are set to appear in Rayman: The Board Game as Level 2 projectiles. Their projectile card has the following effects:

  • 1: All projectiles move down 1 level; projectiles on the first level move up to the third level.
  • 2: All players on a space diagonally adjacent to a projectile take damage.
  • 3: All players that are not on the first level move back 1 space.
  • 4: All players on the first and second level move back 1 space.
  • 5: All players in bubble mode move back 2 spaces (on any level).
  • 6: All projectiles go up 1 level; projectiles on the third level move down to the first level.

They were unlocked when the game raised $270,000 CAD. While the token only displays the red firecracker, the card shows all three variants.
