Nature

Nature is the eighth level of French with Rayman, which is set in Band Land. The theme of the level is nature, including plants, animals and landscape features, while testing players' English spelling skills. Betilla the Fairy and her English relative act as the helper characters who give questions and instructions. The level design and concept is the same as Slick Slopes from Maths and English with Rayman.

In this exercise, Rayman must spell the word 'fox'

Part 1

Rayman has to spell out the words given to him by Betilla's relative by jumping on the platforms with the correct letters on. Players can see what letters they have already collected as the word is spelt out in a box at the bottom of the screen. A few enemies lie in his path, such as Antitoons and Hunters.

Part 2

Rayman has to jump on the cloud with the picture that matches the word that Betilla shows. She does not say the answer until he gets it right, making the level a reading exercise. Between each question, Rayman must test his reflexes through some fast paced platforming across musical staves. This level is not included in the PlayStation port.

Part 3

Within a time limit of three minutes, Rayman must explore a Band Land maze while collecting all the Tings which have letters above them that are used in the word 'Rainbow'. Collecting the wrong Tings will activate a death trap. When he has spelt out the whole word, he must make his way to the exit sign, where Betilla congratulates him.
