During the fight with Boss Biditank, I saw him hit the same helicopter bomb several times with a flurry of shots used by a green Robo-Pirate, yet it didn't explode. But when Rayman shoots it it explodes radiantly. Is this a question of resistance? --iHeckler9 16:57, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

Not really, they're probably just not programmed to explode when touched by pirate shots. — 12:42, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

Flying bomb

As the article states nowadays, the game files of Origins, Jungle Run, Legends, and Fiesta Run call the helicopter bombs "flying bombs," and this name also shows up in Rayman: The Board Game. As accustomed as I've grown to "helicopter bomb," I honestly think we should change the article's name to match these sources. If there's a source that calls it "helicopter bomb," then we can cite that in the article. --Raygamer99 (talk) 23:45, 10 June 2025 (UTC)

I couldn't find any sources calling them "helicopter bombs" either. Prima's Official Strategy Guide (archived here) seems to call them "explosives", "explosive missiles" and "explosive mines", though they are quite obviously neither missiles nor mines. Unless someone can come up with a source for the name "helicopter bomb", I agree that the article should be renamed. —    07:28, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
