Red Globox
Red Globox is one of the 16 playable characters in Rayman Origins , and one of the two characters based on Globox's animated model. He is unlocked at the Snoring Tree when 8 Electoon cages are collected. Similar to Globox Rayman's case, Red Globox shall not be confused with another member of Globox's species; he is just Globox himself displaying a different colour scheme, much like a skin. Before the events of Rayman 2: The Great Escape and even possibly before knowing Rayman, Globox was a Red Wizard, with a completely red skin. Nobody in the Glade of Dreams seems to know what really happened to Globox when he became blue; while the other Red Wizards whisper rumours about him being poisoned by venomous bubeastietubbis, the Teensies believe that his colour chance was produced by excess of Plum Juice. In The Art of Rayman Origins, has a more legit explanation for his blue colour: While he was eating some berries in a bush, Globox confused a blue mosquito's eye for a berry, and after failed attempts to take it off it's body, he swallowed it entirely. The mosquito, inside of Globox's body, buzzed noisily for help, and inmediately a swarm of blue mosquitoes appeared to sting Globox, leaving him with several blue tumors that eventually became part of his skin. Is unknown if the playable Red Globox is a younger, a cured, or just a disguised version of Globox.

In the Playstation commercial of Rayman 2: The Great Escape, a red Globox can be seen, weirdly, bearing a Robo-Pirate symbol on his belly.
