Psychlops

Psychlops are bat-winged creatures with one eye, sharp teeth and spiky skin which appear in Rayman Origins and in the Back to Origins mode in Rayman Legends. They are also very similar to Black Lums. They're always found sleeping or bouncing in one place when encountered by the players. If the players gets to close to a Psychlops, the players will get bubblized on its spikes. They seem to have an alliance with the Darktoons and the Livid Dead since they are with them in the Land of The Livid Dead in the opening cutscene of Rayman Origins.

Psychlops were originally planned to appear in Rayman 2 as enemies but they got scrapped during development. They were originally named "Janod" as a reference to the person's surname who designed them.
