The Plunger Guard is a technique used by Rayman in Rayman in the Phantom Show, the third DLC of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. It allows him to spawn two plum-shaped weapons which open in the middle, revealing a plunger gun inside.

Rayman can either leave the Plunger Guards where they are, or grab them and throw them in a different spot. Other heroes can move them too.

When an enemy moves within its range, the Plunger Guard fires a plunger at them. Guards contain two charges: if the first hit does not defeat the enemy, and the Guard hasn't previously used its first charge, then a second plunger will be fired. Plunger Guards disappear from the battlefield after running out of charges, or if newer Guards are summoned, as there can only be a maximum of five active ones.

When Rayman is wearing the Vortex or Rocket costume, the Plunger Guard is replaced by the Vortex Guard and the Rocket Guard, respectively.

Description

Summons 2 Guards which fire 2 projectiles at any moving targets within range. 5 Guards can be active at the same time. Older Guards will be destroyed when newer Guards are summoned or if they run out of charges.
