Why did someone removed the part of his difference appearance between Rayman 2,m,3 and Rayman Origins ?.... - Frenkystijn
- It wasn't very well-written and it wasn't very important, either. I don't think that 'longer arms' or 'bigger eyes' indicate that it's a different species. If it's really necessary, we can add detailed comparisons of the Teensie sprites when the game comes out and we can have a good look at them. Spiraldoor 14:59, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Spiral Door Dance
I've been thinking at this for some time: aren't their Spiral Door dance kind of inspired in the Irish dances? --Haruka 20:34, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- I really don't think so... —Spiraldoor 16:13, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Well, since you are an Irish native you shall know better. Because I remember to see some Irish dances, their feet movement reminded me the Teensies. Oh well. --Haruka 16:16, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Nah that's not really Irish dancing, it's more like a Russian one plus the jingle sounds more like Russian or otherwise East European gypsy music. -- StaceyW ♬ 16:28, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- It's more like polka to me. — 17:21, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Name
Do you think we should move Teensie to Teensy? It's clear from Rayman Origins that the developers intend 'Teensy' to be the singular. There are one or two uses of the word 'Teensie' earlier on, like on an R3 site and in Hoodlums' Revenge, so that's still an acceptable (if outdated) spelling, but nowhere near the dozens of times 'Teensy' has been used in Origins and its surrounding material. I suspect the developers didn't really give the matter any thought until Origins. The only problem I can think of it that [[Teensie]]s is a lot easier to type than [[Teensy|Teensies]], but it's not a dealbreaker.
Even if we decide to leave Teensie where it is, we should definitely move the Origins-related articles like Green Teensie and Goth Teensie to Green Teensy and Goth Teensy; as far as I can recall, the current forms don't appear anywhere in any official material. —Spiraldoor 15:58, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
- Hard decision, because I'm really used to the old spelling. I prefer to listen the opinion of other contributors to see if I achieve a more solid opinion. --Haruka 19:29, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
- Well they pronounce Lums differently, so, yeah, I agree with Spiral. Call them 'Teensys' for this game and 'Teensies' for every other game. --iHeckler9 07:05, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
- 'Teensies' is still the only correct plural. 'Teensys' is never used anywhere. —Spiraldoor 12:54, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
