An electric barrel[1] is a living obstacle that is present in some of the race tracks from Rayman M. Although they share some similarities with the Barrel Pirates, the two should not be confused. The electrical barrels can slow down the racers by making them touch their own electrical shields.
Description
Electric barrels are static, time-based obstacles. Standing near them is not advised, as they can stun a racer by creating an electrical shield around themselves. While doing so, the barrels convulse and shake uncontrollably, which suggests that they are not immune to their own electrical power.
